Celebrity look-alike contests hit new levels with Clash of Clans takeover
Over the past two years, celebrity look-alike competitions have taken social media by storm, producing countless viral moments that spotlight fans’ creativity while celebrating beloved figures from the world of music and entertainment. As one of the world’s most popular mobile games, with approximately 150 million monthly players, Clash of Clans joined the movement by spotlighting its legendary hero, the Barbarian, in a community-drive celebration ahead of Halloween 2025.

Hosted in New York City and featuring a $10,000 grand prize, the event was designed to excite Clash of Clans’ passionate fanbase and attract a spirited crowd of would-be Barbarians. To add a touch of relevant local star power, we helped Supercell partner with NBA All-Star and New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, who took on the role of ultimate judge to crown the true Barbarian champion.
